Add Record | Create a new record of type RecordType in folder ParentFolder. If the RecordType parameter is not specified, the new record will be of the same type as the selected one. If no record is selected, a record of the main type will be created (top row in menu Add). If the ParentFolder parameter is not specified, the record will be created in the current folder. If the Relation parameter has value Yes, the added record will be linked to the selected record; otherwise, the relation will not be created. CreationMethod parameter may possess the following three values:
RETURN VALUE: Returns recordset with the created record if record was added, 0 otherwise. |
Popup Record(s) | This action shows the records set by a recordset RecordsToShow in a new window:
The records opened in a new window can be edited. To choose the record for editing, use the arrow at the bottom part of the screen. For this operation to be successful, all the records in the set should be of the same type. Using a recordset RecordByDefault variable, you can set up a default record for the opened window. |
Clone Records () | Create a replica of the selected records. RETURN VALUE: Returns 1 if records were cloned, 0 otherwise. |
Delete Records () | Delete the selected records. RETURN VALUE: Returns 1 if records were deleted, 0 otherwise. |
Move Records | Move the selected records into folder Folder. RETURN VALUE: Returns 1 if records were moved, 0 otherwise. |
Find Records | Open the Find Records window. By default, text DefaultText will be searched in folder DefaultFolder. |
Sort Records | Sort records in the current folder using SortOrder. If SortOrder is not specified, then open the dialog for sorting records. |
Select all Records (Folder) | Select all records in the folder Folder. |
